No. S‑Baltic SIA is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice itself. We help you find the right independent, qualified lawyer for your matter in Latvia or the EU, brief them, and coordinate the work so you have a single point of contact.
Most work is billed at an hourly rate, which we confirm before starting. For defined-scope matters — such as a standard residence permit application — we offer fixed fees agreed upfront. You will never receive an invoice that surprises you.
We respond to every initial enquiry within one business day. For urgent matters — such as an expiring permit or a registration deadline — call us directly and we will prioritise accordingly.
Yes. Most of our clients are individuals and families based outside Latvia who are preparing to move. Almost all communication and document review can be handled remotely.
We work in English. For documents or correspondence in other languages, we coordinate certified translations — so your matter is handled accurately regardless of the original language.
Yes, for matters with a clear and defined scope — such as temporary residence permit applications. We agree the fee before starting so there are no surprises.
