Our Approach

A method, not a mood.

You bring us a matter. We map the issues, find the right specialist, assign the case, and manage it to closure — every time, through the same four stages, regardless of complexity.

4-stage process Specialist network One point of contact
  1. Art. 1

    Intake & Issue Mapping

We start with a working session to understand the commercial reality behind the legal question — not just the question itself. Most matters arrive framed as one problem but contain two or three distinct legal issues that need separate handling.

What comes out of intake is a written issue map: the legal questions ranked by risk, the areas of law involved, and a realistic timeline. Clients receive this before we assign anything or bill a single hour.

  2. Art. 2

    Specialist Matching

Based on the issue map, we identify the right specialist from our network — a lawyer who works exclusively in that area of law. We do not assign whoever is available; we match the specific matter to the specific expertise it requires.

Our network covers all 12 practice areas. For cross-disciplinary matters — an M&A deal with a tax and employment component, for example — we coordinate multiple specialists under a single brief, so the client still deals with one point of contact.

  3. Art. 3

    Assignment & Briefing

We formally assign the matter to the matched specialist and issue a written brief covering the issue map, the client's commercial objectives, the timeline, and the expected deliverables. The specialist works through S‑Baltic — not directly with the client.

This structure keeps accountability with us. The specialist delivers to us; we review, translate into plain terms where needed, and present to the client. If the work is not right, we go back — the client does not have to manage that conversation.

  4. Art. 4

    Oversight & Closure

We stay attached to the matter throughout. We review every deliverable before it reaches the client, coordinate filings and registrations, and maintain a closing checklist to confirm every obligation has been discharged.

When the matter is closed, we send a written closure confirmation. Clients are never left wondering whether a filing was submitted or a registration confirmed — that is our responsibility, not theirs to chase.

How we operate

Three things that never change,
regardless of the matter.

01

Matched, not assigned at random

The specialist is chosen based on the specific legal issue, not on availability. A FinTech licensing matter goes to a regulatory specialist. A maritime dispute goes to a maritime lawyer. The match is the work.

02

One relationship, always

Clients deal with S‑Baltic throughout — not with the underlying specialist directly. You do not need to manage multiple firms, track down different lawyers, or repeat your brief. We carry that.

03

Accountable end-to-end

We remain responsible to the client for every piece of work, even when a specialist delivers it. If a deliverable is not right, we fix it. The client has one place to go when something needs to change.
